Who we are:
Located in Wrocław, Poland, Hetalox houses a diverse team consisting of experienced medical practitioners, inventive engineers, and dedicated researchers. Our central objective revolves around leveraging cutting-edge technology and maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence to provide accurate insights into neurological conditions. Through the collaborative efforts of our multidisciplinary team, spanning medical, engineering, and research realms, we continuously enhance our proprietary machine vision and AI algorithms, pushing the boundaries of innovation to ultimately improve patient outcomes.
Our team
PhD, AI expert: a computer scientist with over ten years of commercial experience in computer vision, including over five years in team management developing AI solutions. He obtained his PhD in computer science from the University of Heidelberg in 2021. He completed research internships at prestigious institutions such as the KU Leuven, and the University of Padua. He is an author of over 20 scientific publications and four patent applications. Throughout his career, he has worked with organizations such as Hemolens Diagnostics, Tooploox, University Hospital Mannheim, Volume Graphics, Tieto, IMEC, Neurosoft, and the European Space Agency.
MD, PhD, medical expert: he graduated from Wroclaw Medical University in 2017 and began working in the Department of General, Interventional, and Neuroradiology of University Clinical Hospital in 2018. In 2022, he obtained his PhD in medical sciences, and in 2023, he passed the European Diploma in Radiology specialization exam. He has 6 years of clinical experience and 3 years as a consultant at a med-tech company utilizing AI solutions. He regularly publishes scientific papers and collaborates on fMRI research under the NCBiR grant. In 2023, he received an award from PLTR. He is currently undergoing European certification in neuro- and cardiac-radiology as part of his membership in ESNR, ESCR, and EACVI.
Software and AI expert: he graduated with a degree in computer science from the University of Wrocław in 2014. With over 12 years of experience in software development and over 5 years as a technical lead on projects involving computer vision, data analysis, and AI, including the use of large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT. He is an expert in application architecture and infrastructure, including cloud service management. Throughout his career, he has built solutions for companies such as IKEA, deepsense.ai, Hemolens Diagnostics, Aeolus Robotics, ShareTheBoard, Voyage, MindMaze, Credit Suisse, and Nokia. He is the co-author of one scientific paper and a patent.
